The claws are coming out and kittens are going to war in the name of cuteness.
KittenWar.com pits kittens against each other to see which one is more adorable based on user votes.
Owners upload a picture of their kitty to battle against other cute cats, but they’re not
always pleased with the results.
Creator Fraser Lewry says, “I imagine it’s like having a child and thinking they’re the cutest kid in the world. When you’re told they’re not, it’s a bit shocking.”
Pet owners get so upset when their kitty loses a war that they’ll ask that the picture be taken down or beg to submit a more adorable photo so they can send them back into battle.
Lewry doesn’t mind so long as owners don’t try to edge out the competition by sending in pictures of their kittens in costumes, which he inds “unnecessary and cruel.”
